This illustrated poster was created to teach children in the Dominican Republic about proper dental care through visuals rather than language. During my annual dental mission trips, I noticed that many children lacked access to dental education and resources, and language barriers made communication difficult.

When I returned home, I designed this poster to visually guide children through the steps of brushing and flossing, using playful characters and storytelling instead of words. The following year, I printed and distributed large versions of the poster during our mission trip. This project reflects my passion for combining art and service—using creativity to bridge communication gaps and promote better health in underserved communities.
