I am the #15 player, wearing a white pinnie in this clip. This footage is from a Middle School league game during the Wizards Field Hockey Team’s winter season. We were missing two of our teammates, but it was still a close and competitive game that ended in a 6–5 score.
I mostly play as a forward, and a lot of my training has been focused on offensive skills and game awareness. Through club practices and games, I’ve worked on things like creating leads, finding open space, quick passing, and finishing in the circle. I’ve also spent a lot of time improving my speed, agility, and conditioning, as well as learning how to press, recover on defense, and support my teammates off the ball.
I have been playing with the Wizards Field Hockey Team since fifth grade, and field hockey has been an important part of my life ever since. I am eager to continue developing my skills, growing as a player, and competing at a high level in high school field hockey.
